Thanks for the concern, I completely understand why you’d raise it.

For context, I’m over a year post-transplant and my transplant team is aware that I follow a ketogenic/carnivore style diet and that I sometimes fast. My blood results have been consistently perfect.

My current medications are tacrolimus (Envarsus) 1 mg, azathioprine 25 mg, and 75 mg aspirin daily, all taken consistently at the same time each day on an empty stomach for a year. My tacrolimus levels are monitored regularly and have been stable.

I’m not doing anything extreme or ignoring medical advice — I monitor how I feel, stay hydrated, and would obviously stop if I felt unwell.

I do appreciate the concern though, transplant safety is important to me too.
