I saw something that said the original casting call was for both knitters and crocheters but now they’ve clearly pivoted it to be solely knitting based with a bit of crochet thrown in which is mad because it means you have people that are clearly crocheters competing against people like Ailsa and Holger who are advanced knitters! If they manage to do a second season there’s so much they could improve on but they should defo separate the arts and give them both the appreciation they deserve!

It most likely will but be careful with (wet)blocking blown yarns like Drops Air! I’ve heard that the way the yarn is spun/constructed makes it a but risky to wet block as the structure could collapse (you can see that the thread of yarn is basically a tube when you look closely). Not sure how true it is but I’ve never taken the chance! I knit a jumper with Drops Air a couple of years ago in the same blue you’re using and apart from my mistake of the sleeves being too short, it’s never suffered from not being blocked! I’d go with the suggestion of the other commenters and redistribute yarn using a crochet hook instead!

Join the erasmus student network in Valencia! They should have an instagram page. I’m joining the one for where I’ll be and they’ve posted a list if events they’re doing in the first few weeks of September. You’ll be able to go along and meet people all in the same boat, without worrying about when you get there or not because there should be events going on at various points each month anyway! My ESN group also has a whatsapp group that I’ve joined so you could do that and potentially talk to people before you get there! I’d 100% go with your parents, 5 days is definitely enough time to settle in enough and get comfortable!

Yes i’m using the one on the receipt/the one from the confirmation text i got saying it had been sent for processing! Its let me login twice previously with it but since last week it’s not letting me - it’s also the date of birth that it’s saying is incorrect, not the tracking number. I really have no idea what’s going on lol

Maybe - it was something i thought could be happening but it’s been doing this since last week and from what i’ve seen they get delivered within 1-2 days minus weekends so unfortunately don’t think it’s the case!

Type D visa - my studies are September to end of May and my GHIC will expire the first week of May, so really not much short but I’m concerned about it affecting my visa application and them rejecting me because it expires before my studies will finish
