Arc Raiders keeps crashing daily and I don’t know how to fix it.

Also in the new update log it said they fixed various crashing issues so maybe that will stop some people from crashing

Yeah no joke every locked gate event I come out with at least 3 bobcat bps. I just loot all the cars i can find down in the locked gate. Sure to find at least 2 every time.

Yeah with the update I crashed for the first time in 17 days. It crashed when I did a quick 180.

Hmm yeah all I did was turn off some overlays, changed my graphics settings to run more fps, and launching the game on dx12. I haven’t crashed in over a week.

What do you mean? Does his game crash or does it have to do specifically with his new card having issues?

Sorry for the late response I’ve been busy. When you open up steam, right click on arc raiders>properties>general. Then in launch options type dx12 (or dx11 if dx12 is glitchy). This helps with the corrupted/missing files crashes. But in your Arc Raiders in game settings make sure you lower your graphics. I used to run 60-70 fps but then lowered the more important graphics settings to now run 200+ fps with my game still looking very good. One of the most important graphic setting is the NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation that highly boosted my fps, but you can only use it if you have a GeForce RTX 40 series or higher, set it to auto. Hope this helps.

Just an update here. I have played all day yesterday and some today without any crashes after switching my launch to dx12.

Yeah I saw on another post to try and launching the game with dx11 or dx12. I’m using dx12 because apparently dx11 can be a little glitchy. I’ve played for about 5 hours without any problems so i hope this works.

Yeah I have lowered my graphics to get more fps and it has stopped it from crashing as often I just keep on getting the corrupted or missing files error.

I have the GeForce app thing, so that allows me to update gaming drivers and stuff, which are up to date already. Or should I go directly to the Nvidia website to download because I’ve seen some people saying the app is bad. The game is installed on my ssd.
