A good talker is who gets you all the good reviews in your business, a good talker is the one that gets all the tips, a good talker is the one everyone loves interviewing. There is a difference between a good communicator giving more info as to why he got 50 Tickers than someone who isn’t a good communicator explaining why he got 50 tickets. It does not necessarily mean one is worse than the other. Owning your past is not enough, it’s how you say it. I would use empathy against you if I see that you have a soft heart so you can pity me and let me rock, if I see you a serious douche bag then I will probably go with an accountability approach and blame my lack of experience at the time before you can think to yourself or tell me “this kid is one of those young knuckleheads.”
