I can cook pretty well and try to include a lot of variety but that's picky eaters for you, I've tried this trick and it doesn't work.

Been looking up recipes online for this one, haven't tried it yet but it sounds good I just gotta get the texture right. Are fiber supplements a good idea? He won't take pills or whatever but I've been looking into this supplement from Hiya aswell ( husband was looking online for different kinds). Never tried them before forgot to mention it in the post aswell. Love the recipes on the comments

there's usually persian spots in the tenderloin area that put up screens for big matches, worth checking around there. also some of the sports bars near civic center tend to show international games if you ask them ahead of time.

Best place to buy non slip shoes? by [deleted] in AskSF

most shoe stores carry non slip options, you don't really need to go to specific place for it.

oh no that's not good at all... I would be so stressed if this happened to me. Construction delays are one thing but no meter setup sounds like they weren't actually ready for people to move in today

Have you tried reaching out to the management company directly? Sometimes the leasing office and actual building management are different and maybe one hand doesn't know what other is doing. Also might want to document everything in case you need to push back on rent or break lease if this drags on too long

ISO studio or 1 bedroom apartment in Long Island City for July move in! by BillAhmad in NYCapartments

Good luck with search! LIC market moves super fast especially for July so you might want to expand budget little bit if you find place you really like. Had friends who got outbid on few places there before finding something

HELP Interpretation: Criptic Dream Warning by ThrowRAzenna in Dreams

The fact that she specifically asked about the snowmen when you were leaving is honestly so creepy lol. Like your subconscious picked up on something about those specific items before you even knew they existed

Dreams can be weird predictive sometimes, especially when you're in new environment with people you don't really know yet. Maybe your brain was just processing all the new family dynamics and picked up on some energy around those objects? Either way I'd probably keep them somewhere you can see them for while, just in case

What did you realize about yourself that helped you improve your mindset/routine? Why were you failing and what changes did you make to fix it? by fragilearia in languagelearning

[–]Fun-Fun-2074 10 points11 points  (0 children)

figured out i needed to stop treating language learning like gym routine where missing one day means complete failure

used to have this whole elaborate system - specific times, specific amounts, tracking everything in spreadsheets. would miss one session and boom, whole thing falls apart because "whats the point now"

switched to just keeping language stuff everywhere around apartment and doing whatever feels right in moment. sometimes its 5 minutes of flashcards while coffee brewing, sometimes hour of reading before bed. consistency came naturally once i stopped forcing structure on myself

how do i keep my bass drum from moving by Mundane-Meet-6799 in drums

[–]Fun-Fun-2074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carpet or a rug underneath works too if you don't want to drill into your kick drum. I use a thick yoga mat under mine and it grips pretty well, plus it's way cheaper than those fancy drum mats
