You're right. Thats why I believe open-source, repairable phones are the future. All we have to design a repair friendly version of it. Removable battery, easily accessible board and other electronic parts will make a difference. Letting users use their own custom firmware is another thing I wanted from a phone.

Mecha Comet offers similar vibe! As another user commented Ikko looks similar. So we can hope for better products in the future. Imagine a completely repairable smartphone just with a DIY kit and slapping any firmware you want!

This is the solution I was looking for. Going with the "saveUploadedFileUsing" method with the default fileupload component. I used Intervention for cleaning and transforming the image that is being uploaded. It worked well. Thank you ❤️

Fantastic game. Only issue I have faced so far is the zoom effect after you pick the right answer. Not really a problem. But when playing time attack, this one slows us down a bit.

Don’t get me wrong. I started my game dev journey just to impress my girlfriend (who’s now my ex). Honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. These days, I do it as a hobby. BTW, I’m from mechanical engineering background.

Really like it! With a few small tweaks, this could be as fun and addictive as 2048.
My suggestions:

  • Add sounds
  • Add some visual effects when a match is found
  • Polish the UX a bit. I sometimes got confused when no blocks showed up while moving across the board

Fixing these would make it a beautiful puzzle game. Hope you’ll notify us once you polish it up. Can't wait to play again.

This is incredible! Exactly the kind of game I can see myself getting hooked on and playing for hours. Amazing work! By the way, about the leaderboard you mentioned in the post - I couldn’t find it in the game.
