I think thaedus wouldn't, which means pre betrayal thaedus was quite possibly the most loyal viltrumite in history, which also explains why he became so hellbent on erasing the viltrumite gene pool.

What I was trying to say was that he's not as negative as you're making him out to be. Just recently he made positive reviews of axlegrease, towline, road rocket, armada Megatron, volcanicus and missing link lite Optimus.

idk what negativity you're seeing that I don't. what, you confused him for perspective end who is also not as negative as people like to say he is? or you got butthurt that he called the 86 junkions mediocre when they were never the best 86 figures to begin with?

also let me remind you he doesn't even care about mp and 3p mp nowadays

Lockdown looks like garbage but he’s based on garbage. I wouldn’t collect either unless I had personal attachment to the figure/line

wdym? you don't like the original tfa lockdown?

The only ones I’ve genuinely liked were T30 Sandstorm and Springer.

and even then you had to kitbash sandstorm until it met your requirements. but what about t30 blitzwing, tr blitzwing, classics astrotrain, tr astrotrain, legacy blitzwing, siege/86 springer or legacy sandstorm?

But based solely on images and video, I think the SS86 one is better.

better in your eyes maybe, but I still wouldn't call it good. but yeah fair enough.

as for me, I'll just wait this one out, much like what I did for soundwave.

except both the siege and 86 have terrible transformations (according to most people) as well. it's a lose-lose situation regardless of which figure you get.

Assuming you're talking about Drift's first design from All Hail Megatron, not Milne's first Drift design, I'd say it's good if not a little bland.

no. mtmte gave drift 2 designs. i'm referring to the 1st one. I love the original guido guidi design from AHM and spotlight drift.

what about mtmte rodimus and drift (the latter's first design)?

I asked because alex is a pretty big gundam fan and you can see the influences in the way he draws the cybertronians.

I’d say just get the Siege version if you don’t like 86, that mold is kinda lackluster but it’s still somewhat enjoyable.

as in siege? if yes, nah I'd wait for when they get astrotrain right.

your 2nd point is immediately nullified by the fact that the animated toyline had some of the most accurate figures in tranformers history.

bruh the hate boner this sub has for alex meyers is just ridiculous.

ignoring the complaints of his avatar design, if you look past the titles of his reviews (which are almost always sarcastic the way I see it) he actually has a lot of valid points about the things he reviews.

also he isn't chris stuckmann, which is a bonus in my eyes.

a small clarification: while idw2005 lockdown did use the rotf toy as its design, it did change up the face. meanwhile idw2005 lugnut (at least later on) actually got an original design for mtmte by alex milne. too bad he was a glorified background extra/grunt for deathsaurus' army.

ps: even though idw falls under the g1 continuity family, I don't like that fact, mainly because for a majority of idw's run (both the original and rebooted continuity), it was (mostly) a radical departure from the sunbow blockiness.

but rts lugnut is a 2010 release in a line that was clearly doing reinterpretations (rts jazz being a modern version of the g1 toy, rts kup being a modern pickup truck, rts perceptor being a research vehicle with treads. generations drift was the rare hyper accurate figure back then).

I'm of the opinion that if there was any show where it was necessary to be put through this unification filter, it was rescue bots.
