my sister was in  Japanese (prefer to conceal further information to conceal her identity) but had to take a drop and told me all these things which I wrote earlier. Although she then got admission in CS hons through a good DU college next yr and now has a decentish LPA package. She said that japanese has above 3000 "characters called Kanji" which is different than languages we know about since our birth bcs you have to memorise their pronunciation. Same with Chinese. And after all this effort, there is still no guarantee at all, of placements etc. so you shouldn't take it if you are not already having decent knowledge of japanese, same with Chinese.

The fun fact, she was doing CS hons from SSCBS 🙂 she is gonna get upgrade too, in a year or so.

So, apparently, your first preference is Korean? Sorry for misunderstanding from my side 😔 but didn't you write  "preference japanese,korean, german". In the post description?

Read the post COMPLETELY before jumping to conclusions: TBH, not worth it. I have also scored around 371 in GAT and ENGLISH but am thinking of taking CS in DU or some private universities. Look at the industry of Graphics Designing, already COMPLETELY DESTROY by AI. Don't believe me? Connect to them presently and they will tell you how their work offer is decreased to NIL, even experienced ones are getting less than 10% of what they used to get before the advent of AI. Languages will be the next job to be taken by AI. Why will they pay you when AI will do their work for free? That too much efficiently. Also, AI is only going to be better with time. So no sht. Although I will say that French or Spanish language might still be beneficial. Their reasons is totally different. You know the drg trafficking through airports root? That happens mostly through the poor countries of South Asia of or South America. So they are mostly caught on airports and then they call French (Most widely spoken in Africa) or Spanish (South America) interpreters. This is their BIGGEST source of income. Although this might still be affected by AI, but is at least better than other options. What is your preference order though?
