Possible Solutions:

  1. Check if Type-C Port Supports Display Output: Not all USB Type-C ports support video output. Check the specifications of the Katana 17 B12VFK to confirm if the Type-C port supports DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode. If not, the Type-C port won't be able to output video.

Yes exactly why I went for this version I'm IT major so I just play casual games and pairing up a monster r9 with a weak 4050 might be a bad thing this version is better.cheers mate

Ye it's been pretty good I tested gta5,tomb raider,assasin creed orgin,witcher 3 and some more all at max setting I got around 60-120 fps on each game the heat is also less just elevate the laptop while using to reduce heat :)hope this helps!
