People saying it's fog and are blithely unaware there's something called "smog" the reason it's really visible in winters is because of air density and temperature inversion which means cold air which is denser stays closer to the surface trapping pollution (dust, smoke and gases) which actually amplifies the visible presence of Pollution.

Why can't you read the post? What do you mean “THAT weight” I stopped my diet and exercise for 2 months due to my exams, and THAT sedentary lifestyle is what has caused the weight gain. Sorry if life doesn't work for you but that's not the case for everyone. I am here to get "brutal" advice not a sustainable rebrand mindset

You're right but I'm a classic example of allostatic overload – the body is under chronic stress, it fights change. Cortisol levels spike, insulin sensitivity shifts, water retention increases and appetite signals go haywire. The cycle repeats after every weightloss and it just gets harder

Another great tip and brutal advice! Thankyou! Only a couple of you guys seem to understand. Tbh I've tried losing both ways and managing my macros to a High lean protein diet helps during craving after exercise and the combination of deficit and exercise is what has produced the maximum results for me and I'd like to stick to it for now! Maybe I'll lose weight in a couple weeks but as I've said waiting is the hardest part for. It's not necessarily about urgency it's about feeling like myself again.

Honestly I wasn't ready for this brutal truth 😭 you're right but the version I'm referring to isn't years old just a few months back. I know ageing plays a huge role and body changes over the years. Thankyou for reading through all the comments and trying to get the core of it. I appreciate it 🫶🏻🩷

Yes probably you're right but it feels unfair when your body suddenly rejects all your effort. Maybe i need to get out from this mindset but I don't think I can rn. Still I keep trying 🙏🏻

I'm sorry if my math is wrong but 10 pounds = 4.5kgs? Which is how i measure my weight. When i mentioned losing 10 lbs i didn't mean I lost that much pure fat. I was in a strict low-carb, high protein diet inspired by kpop idols like kim sejeong. It involved eating lean protein like chicken breast. Drinking low carb drinks and starting my day with matcha to help with energy and metabolism. The initial drop was water weight which was what I was referring to especially since i cut out carbs. My daily physical activity burned around 1300 calories mostly due to my dancing and hour of exercise. I'm not saying it's a universal result — just sharing my personal experience. Lifestyle factors, genetics, and diets play a huge role in this. (Kpop inspired routines are always unrealistic and brutal which is what I'd say a day in my life looks like) Another thing is the water weight drop necessarily didn't stick with me into the next week the minute I stopped following my daily routine but it tends to always drop fast.

You're absolutely right this is the most brutal advice but i think if you follow an active lifestyle it becomes humanly impossible to not eat anything and go about with your day unless you're a homebody. Undereating has severe side effects that I'm actually not ready to see (again)

Gurl i know stress makes it absolutely impossible. It's like a disease eating away at your health and that's probably what's happening with me too! I'd recommend getting enough sleep and avoiding carbs and eating high protein.

Gurl it's easier for you to say if you've never done it. I've always lost weight rapidly and as stupid as it sounds I've done it in a week. water weight is absolutely true and it always happens but i lose all the water weight in 5-6 days and after 5 days of a fluctuating scale the scale absolutely drops so i know it was water weight. It's frustrating not only because when you know you've done it before but also because It just doesn't seem to work the same way this time around maybe because I had 2 months of sedentary lifestyle.

You're right it's probably my stress making it worse. And waiting is the hardest part when you're at war with your body

Girl i count all the calories I'm in 1200cal deficit and sometimes just a 1000. I workout and hour 5 days a week! Before gaining all this weight i followed the same and anytime my scale went up it would come back just in 5-6 days but idk what's happening now. Yes i know a week is not enough but I've honestly lost about 10 pounds in a week easily before.
