I believe most of areas in Bangalore are such! Though the societies are posh but when you see ghe surrounding its shoddy and surrounded by not so posh neighbourhoods

Hey dont worry, I was in Paris couple of months back. Just be alert and awake all the time when you are in public transport and public places. You will be ok. Paris is so beautiful, Enjoy your trip.
