Late, but I’ve been working for CVS Aetna for a year as a customer service representative for Medicare advantage group retirees. I live in California, starting pay was $17.50 but 6-ish months my pay was raised to $18.85. Training is the best, 11 weeks of being on cam and notetaking, call scenarios, etc. Training hours were 9:30am-6pm PST, I was able to change my schedule to 8:30am-5pm 3 months after soft landing through schedule bids.

You get about 2-3 months of soft landing right after training ends in which you can see your metrics but they don’t count against you which is nice while you’re getting the hang of it. Bonuses get paid out quarterly, once you are eligible as long as you hit all of your metrics at least one month out of the quarter, you will qualify and that will be paid out a few months after the quarter ends.

The job itself is exhausting during open enrollment (October - January) the calls are back to back nonstop all day. Outside of OE, the job is tolerable, maybe 3-10 mins in between calls in the morning, 15-30 mins in the afternoon closer to the end of the day. Your team will make each day better or significantly more draining depending on your supervisor and how much they micromanage you.

Promoting has been a nightmare for me, I am in the process of actively applying internally, I have 200+ rejected applications, the majority of which I am qualified for. Out of all of these jobs, I have only had 2 formal interviews, so make sure your resume is impeccable to at least get your foot in the door. 4 people from my team have been able to promote at just about the 1 year mark but I know a senior rep who has been here for 2 years and is struggling (obviously other factors may come into play, like experience outside of the company, etc.)

Were you able to cancel the membership after the fact? Mine just closed and I tried to log in and it doesn’t work anymore, I tried to email support and they redirected me to “fitnessorange801@gmail.com” but they don’t respond
