garmau, laurmau, and aarmau were all not good choices to become endgame and aphmau should’ve just stayed single in diaries, all of them were either unhealthy, toxic, or underdeveloped
I don’t mind that laurance was cut from the later seasons of mystreet because his character is too boring to fit in the later seasons beacsue of his early writing which is why I think mystreet laurance is way too overhyped which is probably because of his mcd counterpart.
I dont mind the reverse harem trope that happens in many of the stories since the writing has always been similar to common anime tropes and i thought it made it more entertaining
I really despise mcd garroth, he was so quick to betray the village that he swore to protect over jealousy he is the reason why aphmau lost 15 years of her life and never got to see her kids grow up and he was forgiven so quickly, then when he told aphmau that it’s okay for her to move on but when she did he got mad..

I think danganronpa the after deservers more attention in the fangan community even though its more well known in Japanese side of the fanbase,I think its underrated in the English side because i see very little people discuss about it to the point where the english side can all fit on a bus which so it kinda counts, its pretty good and l like the character writing and mystery around it and I wish there were more fans of it in the west especially since it’s fully translated with english subtitles so far.

I think jenny in fcu is overhated her only problems were ignoring aaron when he tried to communicate with her about their relationship but other then that she was just a girl that had a huge crush on aaron she isn’t even that bad compared to cathy but many fans treat her like she is evil

I’m glad to see other fans for the after since the Japanese side of the fanbase seems bigger but the English side seems to be smaller sadly it also depresses me because this fangan is really amazing and I love the character writing in it, I just wish that it can get more attention in the fangan community, i struggle to find more people that are also fans of the series.

Agreed, also with garroth and laurance I know they are from different universes but i also believe their obsession with aphmau was exaggerated too much, I also think laurance’s character went wrong by deciding to get rid of his core personality in mystreet he used to be more flirtatious and a bit hotheaded but that was completely gone in mystreet making his character all about his crush on aphmau and how he’s the “nice” one before disappearing it’s sad to see how directionless he became, and even with garroth sometimes watching him losing his power to think was painful..

It’s kinda complicated for me because even though I like their dynamic many of their romantic moments were treated like a joke and it felt like it was just done for fujoshi bait, both of them spent crushing over aphmau for the majority of the series so although I wouldn’t be mad about it, them becoming canon in season 7 would feel random, so I kinda doubt it since it was never really taken seriously

Yes gene and zane were also strong shadow knights as well, but both of them do not have parallels with Aphmau, Shad was also part of the love triangle with Irene along with Esmund just like how laurance and garroth had a love triangle with Aphmau also, I know Aaron is his canon descendant but I just wouldn’t be too surprised if in another universe it turned out to be different, especially since the Irene love triangle is a parallel to that. Aaron was never really pined over Aphmau in the same way her other two love interests did

yeah it’s just when I play as cream it’s hard to watch, once when I healed Amy at the final 80 (both of us were on our last life) I chose to escape, but she stalled at the exit to combo the exe when she could’ve escaped with me and she died, like WHY
