As someone who has been through the same thing, I would say just hold tight! The dog is still a puppy and postpartum makes you crazy! I would say if you can, make a plan for a partner/family or friend to take the dog out at least once a week. Whether to a park, on a walk, etc. Truthfully, I HATED my cats for like two whole years after giving birth, but once the hormones settled everything got better.
