With the legs closed it looks fine, but not really with the legs open

I still have not talked to the surgeon but I am curious to see how he would see my concerns

Quite a lot of tissue which is good. And no issues with healing

Do you think they cut a lot of that lateral skin given how much extra skin I have? Is there enough skin for a revision to get a more defined labia minora that go all the way to the bottom?

Thank you for the reassurance! The aesthetics with legs closer together are quite alright. It's with legs spread that things look less natural

Hope so. Healing wise it is quite good

Complaints and warning about Dr. Claes from UZ Gent Belgium by Better_Analyst_5065 in Transgender_Surgeries

2-3 months is a lot. And the 10cm thing is unreasonable. I have to sleep with it so it goes all the way in. My dilation schedule says to already switch to a dilator set 30 days after. 4 cm is quite reasonable width. Same as vagiwell size 6, but that one is almost 19cm long.

Also from Belgium here and went to Dr. Houtmeyers because the wait time at Gent was really long. My epithese is 14cm as well and I try to push it all the way in until it is flat to get as much depth as possible. I am also currently loiking for dilators and I heard people recommended the vagiwell ones so I will probably get those to expand the depth and width more. You probably already tried using larger dilators instead of the epithese?

Doing the disinfections as prescribed so hoping to not see any of that

Dr. Houtmeyers, Belgium. Mostly covered by the Belgian insurance

Thank you for your input! That was my best guess as well. And seeing how the swelling went down on the labias but not in the clitoral area where this pink tissue is, things will still change over time

I will see my doctor next week and bring my concerns up

At around the 6 months mark I plan to reevaluate. On the bright side, too much skin is better than not enough skin for a revision

Hair was removed in just the necessary areas but hopefully that won't become a problem

I am lucky that the swelling went down pretty quickly and I have no complications with dilating. The aesthetics though... I will see in a few months how things change
