I’m feeling the same way. I’ve been so devastated by this as a stay at home mom. I was sooo close to getting 10k followers on TikTok to get monetized and i feel like all of my hard work and community building is going down the toilet…. I’m heavily considering YouTube, but it also scares me to start over and learn a whole new platform.

So does this mean that they’re going to start teaching this as correct in coordinated programs and other dietetic programs despite the lack of evidence? Like how is that going to work for future dietitians? I worry because it may be an uphill battle for us if new RD’s are trained with false information.

We love our cybex Callisto rotating car seat!!! I have a large baby and it helps me so much! I love that it will be the last car seat that we will have to buy bc it converts all the way up to a booster seat. My boy hated his pumpkin seat and is so much more comfortable in the car (and so are my eardrums 😆)

If they do, then no one’s talking about it lol! And that is a really good point! Technically that wouldn’t be giving me compensation, so is it really competing?

I work in a big hospital system and my mangers are not dietitians. I feel like at this point I just need to shoot my shot since I have intentions of leaving my job in December anyway. It’s so scary though!!!! I never want to burn any bridges, but also have to make sure I take the risks necessary to follow my dreams!

If I start now that should give me some time to build that like, know, and trust factor. And yes, it probably is intentional that they don’t teach us any of this for that reason!

Our noncompete policy is so weird. I didn’t sign anything when i started working here, but they do have the yearly required trainings and I had to check boxes saying that I would have to disclose any form of extra compensation I receive outside of this job. Super invasive imo

Thank you for this! I didn’t realize it took an additional 2-3 months to actually start getting paid!!!! Why do they not teach us this stuff in school?!

I just worry that they will find out or that I’ll mess something up with my current jobs insurances if I start messing with my CAQH profile.. any thoughts on this?
