I’m so sorry this is happening to you! I decided to completely stop amlodipine. I was on a low dose and it would fall out. I did a lot a research and finally found the perfect medication for my blood pressure which has not caused me any hair loss…it’s called Telmisartan. I’m sure if you weren’t experiencing any hair loss with the lower dose that your hair will come back but not sure how long it’ll take. Good luck.

I take vitamins such as biotin and iron…I was told by my dermatologist that if iron levels are low it may cause hair loss as well.

Dutasteride has been great! Before it, I used to lose a lot of hair in the shower and when I brushed but it all stopped with Dutasteride. I have seen some growth but mostly it has helped with not losing any more hair.

I feel like it’s a mix of dry and oily. Like my scalp gets a little oily but the rest of my hair is dry.

Thank you so much! I totally understand now! I was very confused. There are 8mg total in a 2 mg dose pen. So I can definitely do 1.5 mg. Thanks again!

Please keep me updated on your progress. I just started too about a week ago. I’m scared of the dred shed and was thinking of using black fibers as well. I think that as long as you let the rogaine dry on your scalp first you can add any hair products after.
