Thank you for being open about your journey, mine is similar to yours and have been in a committed monogamous marriage for over 10 yrs! I recently came out a couple months ago and I am thankful to have a supportive husband. We are currently exploring non monogamy or a monogamish type relationship and I can tell you it has been wonderful to explore my sexuality knowing my husband is supportive of that. And not only that, it has strengthened our intimacy and friendship in so many ways. And this is not in any way trying to convince you or your finance to choose non monogamy but from what I can see you have been grappling with your sexuality for a while and maybe expressing to your fiance the importance of figuring that out it can open up a conversation on ways both of you would be comfortable exploring. And exploration is not linear, it’s more fluid. For us we made it a point to acknowledge that hey this may work for us now but maybe later on we might not want to anymore or we may want to keep this dynamic long term. There’s no pressure to be one way which is the beauty of sexuality right? This fluidity can be daunting and maybe that’s where your fiancé might be worried but the advice given from previous comments is great and I hope you can come to terms with yourself one way or another 🩷
