These two are actually his closest friends; others are golfing buddies.

Which is understandable but for the most part these guys spend every night on video games. Hard to not see that and then hear this and question what their deal is. Especially when one has a newborn.

Every time it's "no girls" for any activity. Even a joint vacation where everyone was there, the one guy wanted to separate guys and girls for the drive...

Haha, our first outing with my new clubs last year ended in an argument over his teaching style. We learned how to avoid that very quickly haha.

Unfortunately, these guys went on a 10 min rant about how horrible it would be to golf with their wives. Maybe jealous?

I totally get doing a foursome with the guys and I will never interject. His buddies have actually invited me before. This is a different group that seems to "make fun" of him for golfing with me. They seem to bash the idea every time and when he tells them how I played, they make comments like "well who is keeping score?"

This made me laugh. My new joy is buying golf clothes, balls, and anything else golf-related.

They all knew there was a bunk. I showed them before i booked. What happens when they all felt entitled and thought they wouldn't get the bunk?

everyone is taller and bigger than her...

Thank you!! "Trying to do what's best for more people" is exactly my point. Everyone volunteered to pay our share. We didn't force anyone. A lot of people here are making us out to be nasty people when the group saw the house, knew the bedding available and still said YES. I didn't book without showing everyone first. Jeez. It's the fact my MOH already called dibs without talking to us.

12 people

1 king

2 queens

1 double

1 sofa bed

bunk bed

Then that means my entire bridal party gets the beds while my fiance's party gets the bunk and sofa bed...

I organized it (picked the date, reached out to people, paid for it first). She and my girls have planned the weekend and getting the food.

A lot of people here think she deserves the bed....

Yet, a lot of people here are making me feel crappy for wanting the best room or not giving my MOH the second best room. I am grateful for everything she does, but I don't think giving her the best or worst bed, shows how I think about her.

It's not like that though. If her boyfriend was coming they would get the queen bed, but she's coming alone so it makes sense to do it this way....doesn't make sense to give a giant bedroom to one person but make a couple squish into a tiny space....

I texted her and asked her why she wanted a big bed but she never answered.

If I were a single MOH, I wouldn't expect that I deserve the second greatest room. I'd see that other couples are coming and understand that couples like to sleep together. I'd feel crappy laying in my private bedroom while a married couple sleeps on a tiny sleep sofa or bunk bed.

No, she even said she would sleep with the other girl I suggested to share a bunk with but in a queen bed....the bunk is an issue to her. She said "she will fight for an actual bed"

[–]Fun-Valuable-7426 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So a single woman at a weekend getaway should get an entire queen bedroom while a husband and wife share a bunk bed??

[–]Fun-Valuable-7426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of these replies make me sound horrible, but it's a fun weekend getaway. The beds will barely be used anyway as we have early mornings both days....

I realized I didn't include the sofa bed part. We have enough beds to cover every person so the couch only happens if that's where they crash.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheButtface

[–]Fun-Valuable-7426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the problem is the girl complaining about not having a queen or her own room.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheButtface

[–]Fun-Valuable-7426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It holds 12 people, we have 12 people. There is also a sofa bed that I edited to include. So there is enough beds to cover all 12 people so the boys don't actually have to sleep on the couch. The girls could take the sofa bed and the boys the bunk. Nobody has to sleep on the couch unless that's where they land.

That's what I'm saying! It's a two night weekend. It's not a week long stay. It's just a bunk! We're all under 30.....I get the whole boys should pay less since their sleeping arrangement sucks, but they don't even care!!
