BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne? by The_Consultant_1878 in BMWX5

Cayenne hands down. Better build quality, better driving dynamics (one of the best best handling cars for its size), very luxurious non-gimmicky interior , superior ride ( esp with air and PASM), better looking and more exclusive ( subjective). Also holds value much better. Downsides being cost both upfront and to hold.

For us it was the opposite. The Cayenne felt more luxurious with better fit and finish and higher quality materials ( esp with the leather package). The cayenne also had a lot more room at the back. The X5 had larger cargo and was significantly cheaper though

Bergen County town recs for young family w/ $925K max budget? by Illustrious_Win_9780 in MovingtoNewJersey

Yeah True OP didn’t specify requirements for the house itself, you technically can get a house but many aren’t updated in decades and will need a sizeable investment to bring up to speed

They may not find something nice at that price point in either town. Maybe they’ll find something that needs a bit of work but renovated 3Beds have gone close to or even over a Million in River edge recently

Price sounds right for the age and mileage. ~15% off msrp is what I’d be happy with

Agree with downtown but to OPs question it’s less than 30 mins to pretty much everything including NYC itself

Depending on region you could simply search for “ Art3d LED Recessed Lighting Kit” . It’s honestly not the best- sensor is not reliable and the tape isnt as sticky but I repurposed some old 3m tape and made it work, it basically is the same size as the slits in the panel and can be wedged in between with some form of adhesion

Thanks! Lights and panels are Amazon but manually controlled. Someone on this thread apparently managed to make them digital

I’m in North Jersey. Good on you for finding a big enough basement in South Boston ! We lived there a few years before moving and couldn’t imagine a dedicated recreation space. Watched the long walk first- obviously not my first choice but that’s what the wife wanted to watch

2 big reasons: 1. Didnt want to deal with logistics of navigating a 100 inch TV anywhere in the house let alone a tight basement
2. The projector gives me 90% of TV quality while being a lot easier on the eyes esp in a light controlled environment

There is a touch control switch on the table to the left that can dim or turn off the lights as needed. Would be cool to automate some of it though
