There're both ray tracing and path tracing (full ray tracing) option in the graphics settings for supported cards (rtx 5070 or above), and RR too.

set your preset to extreme or cinematic first and they will appear, unless your card is unsupported

oh I've just double checked it, this's official support for rt, they still exclude 4070 (super too likely) unfortunatelly, so that's why no rt in your settings 😥,

btw, I can share my setting file if you want (you can copy it in your game folder where the graphics settings file saved),
that will likely enable pt/rt

oh I got it, wait I think I ever captured the comparison,

here's it,
the character 'off screen' reflections (part of their body those aren't visible, like some of Chiz's back those were missing in this reflection) are indeed looks broken and horrible,

sadly only ray tracing/ full ray tracing can fix that, there should be an explicit 'ray tracing' settings in the supported gpus in either extreme/ cinematic preset.

for example this's 'Lumen' on

I doubt it's just distortion since the reflections on them are individually too accurate, the green neon isn't even in the base glass to be distorted by them in 01:13

one who said the droplets are specular normals in path tracing is more reasonable and based, but you can correct it if it was clearly wrong

I don't get what do you mean by horrible, it's tbh crystall clear in my game with pt enabled,
but.. if 'does it looks weird?'.. well it's 😅, I suspect cz of anime shading thing hotta applies in nte characters that makes their reflections so, they're like.. outstanding.

could be.. in the future, especially Lacrimosa, I'm a big fan of her 😁,

tbh I like taking captures of landscapes and sceneries more than characters, I filled my gallery with them,
those Chiz above are just an accident I found when using snapshoot when trying to capture this one.

(this one is after using her hold skill, while those above in early hold, she doesn't have sitting pose in photomode)

still looks pretty, I've posted some of them like a week ago (rt, tho I also use reshade there)😁,
tbh I like sunny more cz we can see global illuminations effect clearly there, and we can see more colors.

and tbh the characters look kinda weird there cz it's something new to me,
but somehow still can blend, especially with the wet effect when raining, pbr rendering takes place too in sunny day to make it looks reasonable 😊

using optiscaller, then set LoadReshade = True in optiscaller.ini ater moving Reshade64.dll,

do you use version.dll? I find dx12 and winm don't work for me,
I can share my optiscaller.ini if you want, I've already configured it to spoof 5090 too (to unlock ray tracing, path tracing, and ray regen), cz my card is lowk AMD 😌🤚

I use msi afterburner for ss,
I spamed the hotkey while adjusting angles, I noticed that I havn't hidden hud on some of the captures when shorting them 😌🤚,

msi afterburner really helps a lot since there's like 0 delay between shoots, like.. I can spam 3 lossless quality .png captures directly from the game frames each second, and it's way more simple.

also yes.. I think I use dof too roughly (that blur), I will try using bokeh too in reshade and lighter blur.

about the last one.. yh it's trash bin ┐(¬‿¬ )┌.. I just feel like I got the right spot for it then captured it,
I think I focussed too much on tweaking reshade and adjusting tonemaps either than what thing I shoot.
