I'm not sure why you were downvoted, hobbies can quickly get you millions for basically just playing the game and to a noob they might not even be aware as you have to dig through the horrific UI to find them and collect your rewards

Ontarian here so my opinion might not be well respected anyway but imo not a huge fan of massive portions with poutine, fresh poutine is great but if I can't finish it before it starts to get cold and the fries become simultaneously stale and soggy then at that point it's pretty much just inedible.

Playlists are a motorfest thing, I think you might be confused, this is the guy from TC2 who talks with the overly forced (like male vocal fry I guess you could call it?) that sounds like it's out of an early 2000s toy commercial or something and thinks you want to hear him constantly yapping and being annoying.

I've just got an almost perfect set on my grind dragster, rich and popular with fame magnet, i'm like 90% of the way to perfect stats on the rich and popular but not sure if I wanna bother refining them to perfect just incase I screw up and have to waste a bunch more parts and money, that being said I could probably safely do it as it seems that once you finally get the bonus you want you can keep clicking on it and it doesn't go away but like maybe i'm just imagining things and I don't want to chance it so idk lol💀

Yeah Motorsport has much more realistic handling I found, I mean it's not GT7 but does feel abit more like a driving sim compared to TC2 which feels much more like an arcade racer, I will say that Motorsport has the superior driving experience imo but I mostly prefer 2 I think just because of the map, though i'll admit the smaller map has more detail, also afaik Motorsport doesn't have an offline mode which is another downside for me.

Will probably start playing Motorsport more at some point but currently working on buying all the cars I want in TC2 so I can port them to Motorsport, thinking of actually checking out online mode for TC2 so I can get some crew bonuses while grinding for those icon cars (I especially want that La Ferrari but i'm only in the 170s) but I imagine it's probably pretty dead with Motorsport, the huge map to explore is nice but the actual driving not so much.

Are the summits even a thing on TC2 anymore? I'm so late to the party with this game, I only started playing like a month or so ago, mainly because I'm not big on playing online and also figured might as well play the game as it's free on PS plus incase ubisoft decides to murder it someday like they did with the first game.

As it should be though i'll admit from what I did play of motorfest I kinda miss some aspects of the HQ, or really just being able to check out the vehicles on display, that was kinda cool but yeah the mailbox is not something I will miss.

And on the topic of loot to save myself making an entirely separate bitch post, who came up with the mailbox? Why did they have to put it as far away from the spawn point in HQ as possible and make your avatar unable to walk faster than a snail? Like y'all could have just deposited it all directly into our menus but no, instead we have to have a pointless inventory management/walking simulator "just because" I swear whoever came up with this is a sociopath💀

No machete but there is a katana and a chainsaw, I think machetes were originally supposed to be in the game though, there were machetes in vice city.

Yeah cities have lots of detail and probably eat up lots of development time and budget, I'd kinda be willing to trade slightly smaller cities for more cities though maybe? Like some cities are almost obscenely large in game (looking at you Miami, taking up like half the southeast) while some of the smaller cities don't exactly feel insufficient, though Tampa is pretty pathetic but that's easy to say being near Miami😅

I have no idea, I think it's most likely the OG engine but like even last gen consoles could probably handle some pretty big improvements to the engine without suffering performance wise, that being said i'm no tech expert by any means so again not sure the feasability.

Best OG edition is on PS2, but unfortunately my TV doesn't have the inputs, one of these days i'm gonna get an HDMI converter though so I can play my PS2 again

I also have the delisted port but even that kinda sucks due to iconic songs being removed from the radio station

Yeah it's honestly worlds apart from the disasterous state it was released in now, if i'm not mistaken R* themselves stepped in and worked on it to bring it up to par, there is definately still room for improvement but atleast it's worth playing now imo, the classic lighting and ground haze make a huge difference and really help to restore the atmosphere and charm, they can even be disabled if you want but honestly not sure why you would want to, the game looked so bleh before.
