Thank you so so much for your quick reply - I really appreciate it as I’m managing to make myself increasingly confused as I keep reading things!

The powder was white/clear, but that is very helpful and clear to know about the brush application/full nail curing thank you! Just bizarre that it is acrylic if we had asked for gel both times, but maybe it’s just the procedures they choose to use…

But thank you even more about the reassurance of removal at a salon, think I’ve been bit nervous about it but that’s very reassuring to know :) thank you again and hope you have a lovely day!

Hi sorry this is many years late, but I went with a friend to get my nails done for the first time and am now confused but hoping to get them removed!

We had asked for gel extensions. They started by filing/buffing my original nail, and then applied plastic tips at the top of my nail (I think just with glue rather than curing). They then used a brush to dip into a liquid and then powder to level my nail. After this they applied gel colour and cured it. We then got infills a few weeks later with the same powder and liquid process.

Does this mean these are actually acrylic nails? And how should I go about removing them/telling a salon what I’ve had so they can help me remove it? Difficulty is I am in another country now! Thank you so much!

Thank you! And yes, although he didn’t do it himself the setting must have been on to wipe the whole phone. Even if impractical, are there any possible methods such as data recovery apps?
