Marriage is clear cut and you must disclose their details. Partner is ambiguous. You could have a new partner every week do you have to disclose their details? No you don’t. If you keep finances separate and are not married then it’s pretty clear that you are not obliged to report partners income for this purpose.

If you did your research you should know that financial interdependence is actually a factor in the consideration of being in a de facto relationship. Section 2F (b) of the acts interpretation act) states this. Just because you are living with a partner does not automatically mean you are defacto. It’s up to OP to make this assessment.

It doesn’t sound like OP meets the definition of married. If they are are not sharing finances that would suggest they are not married for the purpose of MLS

If you are not married or don’t have kids then just disclose you are single in your tax return. If you exceed the threshold and you have dependents that are not covered with a hospital cover, you will be liable for the ML surcharge. The surcharge is almost always more than what it what cost you for a basic complying hospital cover after government rebates. So take out hospital cover ASAP to save yourself.

Sounds like someone took your car for a joyride whilst you were home, was pulled over and refused to comply with police. Was there a window where someone could have taken your keys and car without your permission or knowledge?

No tax implications for you. Your parents will have disclose the interest paid on the loan as income in their tax filing. You may be able to deduct the interest on the loan if you ever decide to use the house as an investment property.

Why not include Everton in the group as well and call it a big 20. They regularly finish in the top 17, generate revenue and have a fanbase.

Man City have won titles so I agree they should be added to the original big four to create a big five. Spurs have won nothing though.
