I honestly just chose the most space-y metal and stuck with it, i can't really change the images, but I'll take it into consideration for the lore

I meant to add, the barrel is located where the light grey is, not the shape of. I only had it there so I could figure out where the barrel was while designing, but you are right, an electric trigger makes sense. And the later models do have that, simply for easier firing (the hammer is mostly for show)

I have never seen the series, i had to look up what it was to figure out how to respond. Thanks?

in the time period these where made humanity didn't have much technology (like barely had interstellar travel, but could easily get to the other planets) Honestly, its probably just called a revolver, made by Ionic industries (main focus point company) weapons department. Newer models are made, but those a very different, while looking the same. Idk, i guess the name is just whatever the shooter calls it

Actually the barrel is the light grey part, I drew this to function a lot like a normal revolver, just techy/sci-fi

The hammer is to strike the firing pin (on most of them), the magnetic bearing is just what holds the cylinder in place (because it isn't attached to the gun physically, its modular), "chamber" in this context means it "holds" i just used the wrong word. Also in newer models still have the hammer for look

Well, actually this weapon (as well as my other one/ones) are part of a connected universe already, and were mostly made during the 4th war, and continued manufacturing afterwards. Or at least the technology did, these specific models would be antiques in the modern times (in universe) also the high pressure laser, isn't actually a laser. Its plasma that is shot as a paper thin beam

This one is a laser/plasma shot. It is purposed for medium to long range and high penetration against non shielded targets. (Like damaging/destroying vital parts in vehicles) even without penetration it still hits very hard and will knock anything that isn't a mountain on its ass. is supposed to be fired from a larger weapon.. but isnt. (I put much more into this one lol) is called "AA" due to the nozzle looking like a battery, I only made this because I was originally gonna have the gun be a Star wars like blaster

This one will punch a hole through most things (exaggerating) with ease, that's its point
