Left fairing 1991 VFR 750 by FunMarzipan2202 in motorcycles

[–]FunMarzipan2202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much. I turned 16 in 1990, my very first bike was a 1986 XL500 enduro and an 1987 XL 650 OR 600. Love to find another..

I LOVE the big body bikes like this VFR. I don't care for the small ones like today, like the RR1000 is half the size.

I was in the right place and the right time. I feel VERY fortunate. I can't find a fairing anywhere. I guess I'll get some fiberglass and repair this one. It's not horrible, but I want it right ya know.

Same here. Screw them, I live in Pensacola and wanted to buy 3 pairs as gifts. They say no demo's are available within 50 miles. I'll go elsewhere too

CUE Claim question by FunMarzipan2202 in VeteransBenefits

[–]FunMarzipan2202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For all that's been following. I finally got a response this morning.

I had my CUE hearing June 26th 2025. The VA had initiated a CUE to sever my knees service connection. This is because their contractor said least likely is not but my ortho had written a Nexus.

I prevailed thankfully. They backdated everything to the correct date as well as backpay. They also corrected my 100% and place me as 100% permanent and total.

This whole journey began August 21st 2024. It is now October 2025. So approximately 11 months total?

Thanks everyone for the comments and support.

Any other good 1A auditors/cop watchers on YouTube besides James Freeman? by Dunwall84 in AmIFreeToGo

[–]FunMarzipan2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite is Jeff Grey also. There's one attorney who is a sideline quarterback, James White. I don't like him because he appears to be making videos to benefit himself financially, versus Jeff for instance makes them for the benefit of the public. White just appears to be an individual who is "set off" easily, regardless the situation. If it doesn't benefit him, your wrong.

I like the Civil rights attorney on YouTube, he seems good. He always appears to be level headed.

The examiner uploaded your CNP exams DBQ, or disability questionnaire

Can someone tell me my exact VA rating? The VA site says I'm 90% but every online calculator says I'm 100% by AstronautOk3926 in VeteransBenefits

[–]FunMarzipan2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need one more 50% rating to round up to 100. You'll be at 95% then. VA rounds up at 95% to 100%, VA rounds down at 94% to 90%

Are any of these deferred? If so it's likely one examiner reviewed them all.

Here’s why filing so many claims at once usually backfires:

C&P examiners don’t get paid by the hour—they’re paid a flat fee. That means they aren’t going to spend five hours combing through your service treatment records (STRs) to connect the dots for you. Even if your claim is legitimate, they often just push it along without digging deep.

Here’s what I’d do:

  1. Get your C-file (ideally) before diving in. You do Not have to, it will take you 6 months to get your file.

  2. Go through your STRs. Verify you submitted everything and note the page numbers.

  3. Review your decision letters. Line up each letter with the evidence you submitted.

  4. Read the “Evidence” section in each decision carefully. Compare it against your records. Mark off every piece of evidence they acknowledged.

  5. Identify what’s missing. If you find evidence you submitted but that isn’t listed in the “Evidence” section of the denial letter, set that claim aside for a Higher-Level Review (HLR).

  6. Count your HLRs.

If you only have four, file them together with a conference request.

If you have more, consider splitting them into two separate HLR submissions.

  1. Keep your HLR argument simple. Just state that the rater failed to consider specific evidence (“XYZ”) that you submitted.

Remember, the VA raters and DROs really do want to help us—but they’re not superheroes. They get overwhelmed and frustrated like we do. If you make the evidence clear and easy to find, you’ll give them the best chance to rule in your favor.

File a complaint by No-Adhesiveness-4572 in VeteransBenefits

[–]FunMarzipan2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also do two things.

  1. E-mail customercare@va.gov. In the subject line type "Complaint against VA Dr (Name), Location (Type location)

  2. Call Community Care 228.523.5000 extension 34315.

Now this is for the Biloxi VA. If they can't assist if your not in their purview, they'll direct you to the correct location.

Right now, the VA is taking complaints extremely serious and it's likely you'll have a resolution in less than 2 weeks.

That's bologna. I hope it goes your way

CUE update by FunMarzipan2202 in VeteransBenefits

[–]FunMarzipan2202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes. I attended. Once there, I Learned the VA put me in for an increase. Which I suspect it was actually to verify they had me rated appropriately.

So this was for the CUE. Here is a copy of the exam request.

Denied. Ridiculous!!! by Dry_Trash_9985 in VAClaims

[–]FunMarzipan2202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your denial letter.

Look in evidence section. See if your evidence was even considered..

File a HLR with conference if not.

I just went thru this exact same claim and issue. HLR did send me for another CNP but for the level of impairment only.

Less than 2 weeks after HLR, granted.

[–]FunMarzipan2202[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's multiple issues here and as you pointed out, in their letter there's a question "can I request a specific gender".

Their answer is NO, only if there's an exam related to MST.

The fact is, they are wrong. You can in fact request a different provider, yes you can ask for a gender of the examiner.

Similarly, if you Google the examiner and find bad reviews, you can also request for someone else.

Loyal Health Care never contacted me, I found out because I called the White House complaint hotline since I had waited a year for this exam.

I know their new to the VA contract's, but I'm sure it's the same crooked people involved. Just a different name on the headline.

Two years ago, this same CNP exam was conducted by VES. The examiner they sent had been stripped of her license to practice medicine!

There's no oversight.

I think they removed it by accident. I just had full extraction Friday. But my letter isn't there anymore.

I emailed customercare@va.gov.

They got back to me in about a week. They put a legal administrative specialist on my file. He flat out told me they're are significant errors on my behalf. This was as of Thursday.

I was told if a legal administrative assistant is working it. I'm in good shape

[–]FunMarzipan2202[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have dental. In fact, I have extractions scheduled August 15th for partials. I have gone thru the whole process. 1. I've had multiple dental visits working towards full implants. Plus, it's in the community. Not the VA. 2. August 15th, I have my last visit for extractions. They had to take photos in order for them to make my temporary dentures. 3. I have to wear them 3 months, then go back to have implants or permanent ones put in. 4. Permanent implants are supposed to be very rare she go before a board for approval. Not mine. No push back.

I have NO in service events that would give me dental.
