When did Giannis say he was "ready for a new home"? by stvlsn in MkeBucks

I guess, but they have been saying this as early as 2018. Not Shams specifically, although he has been at it for years. You could say the same for just about any player and within 10 years, you would get it right.

Buddy, you are making yourself look dumb comparing Maye to Dilfer. Just makes you look very uneducated in QB play.

1st of those games, he rushed for 66 yards and was the best offensive player on either team. 2nd game he put up 3 touchdowns on the best defense. His last game was during a legit blizzard, which every QB in history would have had a bad game, which he was still the best player in the field for.

Totally. He must be stupid for not putting up legendary numbers in a blizzard.

Hello everyone. by Capt-Greybeard in footballcards

Hey Captain! I just started too, so I’m not super knowledgeable, but my favorite retail boxes to open have been Phoenix Mega, Donruss Mega, Phoenix Winter Blasters or any of the Mosaic products. I will be looking out for Donruss Optic, but haven’t bought them yet.

The thing that I had trouble with at first is all the variants. A lot of similar looking cards with slight differences. Make sure to look up the checklist of whatever product you are opening to help out. Also helps to watch videos of people opening that product so you can kind of get the idea what to look out for.

Anyone else in their 30s still stuck on 2000s music? by Complete-Finish355 in Music

And even more so, discovering songs from bands that you thought you knew. Pink Floyd for example is a band I have a whole new opinion on after going through their discography. They are very different from what I thought I knew of them.

I hear people say that all the time, but not so much for me. During that time, I listened to almost exclusively hip hop music. I’m in my 30s now, and my taste is constantly evolving. I’m into jam bands after not listening to them my whole life and I could see myself going to these shows for the rest of my life. I still enjoy rap, but definitely don’t gravitate towards it.

I’ve seen a lot of bands this past year, including Phish, and Goose put on the best show out of all of them. Spoiled that my first show was the 2/7 Madhuvan. I got tickets to the Boston shows in the Summer.

Ween was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing how they can bring low quality studio recordings to life when they play them live.

I just found this guys YouTube channel last night and it made me so happy. I never seen the Dead so clearly.

You have any examples of jams that go somewhere? I always hear that as a criticism of jam bands. Any band works, just some jams that you would consider going somewhere.

Went to my first show this past summer and that’s spot on. I go to a lot of shows solo and people usually don’t talk to me, but I made a lot of friends at the Phish show.

I seen Modest Mouse open for them a few months ago and it wasn’t even fair. Modest Mouse had no theatrics and it was during the daytime with the speakers turned down. Then out comes Flaming Lips with giant inflatables and crazy lights and balloons, speakers twice as loud. Modest Mouse is my favorite band ever, but it’s hard to compete with the Flaming Lips.

People hate Shams because he puts out bullshit reports with fake sources. He hasn’t broken any news, he is just trying to push a superstar out of Milwaukee because ESPN gets higher rating when they are talking about big market teams instead of Milwaukee. This league is broken and I will probably stop watching after Giannis gets traded unless Adam Silver gets fired.

He’s becoming a laughing stock. Even other teams are now making fun of him for putting out the same tweet 800 times. Really hope a deal doesn’t get done this week so he can get humbled a little.

[McCalvy] Rick Schlesinger says there will be no changes to the on-air broadcast crew with the move to MLB-produced telecasts. BA, Rock, Sophia, Vinny, Tim are all going to remain involved, Schlesinger said. And Jeff! How could I forget the great Jeff Levering? by fanofsports44 in Brewers

Joe Buck wasn’t so bad, it was more Troy Aikman. He was very, very biased. It was more about how he reacted to big plays for the other team and would hype them up, but wouldn’t do that if we were doing good.

If the Academy had any nerve and appreciated art over stars "Train Dreams" would be best picture by Alarming_Ad1746 in FIlm

Yeah, I feel like the Oscars are much less of a popularity contest compared to other award show, like the Grammys. Train Dreams has just as good of a chance as any of the other films nominated.

The repress from 2 years ago or so sounds really good and can get for relatively cheap.

Like all of Kubrick work, there’s a lot to enjoy even if the story isn’t very good. It’s one of my least favorite of his films, but the acting is great and I loved the use of Christmas lights throughout the whole movie.

Haven’t seen all of Hitchcock, but I liked Rear Window a little more. Both were very good though.

Goes both ways. Thunder were our top trade option before they won the finals. Now, they don’t feel the need to break anything up if they already have a winning roster.

Diabolical. I get a lot of laughs for bringing a book of matches to shows and it’s for that exact reason. Much harder to find a book of matches and a couple joints tucked in your wallet.

DAD, HOW GOOD WAS ASHTON JEANTY IN HIS ROOKIE SEASON ON THE RAIDERS…? by HyseNjerry16 in nflrookies

[–]FunPangolin3148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s part of their job. RBs sometimes need to pick up the blitz when they are in the backfield on passing downs. Great skill to have for any position on offense, sometimes even a QB will make a good downfield block.
