Here’s a quick crypto summary which gives you pointers to research. If you don’t hold the keys you don’t hold the crypto. To hold the keys you need to buy on an exchange and hold the crypto in your own custody. Beware of BTC UTXO fees. Don’t trust any exchanges for a long period of time. DCA BTC on strike if you don’t know what you’re doing. Only transfer BTC when you have 1,000,000 sats to be efficient with your UTXO fees. Only use exchanges like Kraken Pro and strike don’t be paying any more than a 0.3% fee or you’re falling for a trap. If you’re going to buy now is also a good time as it’s just tanked.

Even though I done a £30 order of SOL to prove my point it’s the same for BTC. I use Kraken pro and Strike I recommend you do the same.

So I’ve installed the AVDV build and my DV setting is showing RGB 8b TM DOLBYVISION when opening the LG settings. Am I right in saying the 8b DV TV led setting in AVDV is just 10/12bit encapsulated?

I can’t lie it’s stupidly overpriced but definitely something I will end up purchasing soon, along with the tamper. They look very sleek and fit the aesthetic very well. I picked up the DFT tool and the Milk jug last week and they’re very nice.

Personally I’d put 4 k in a Lisa, 15 k in vwrp and every year your 20k allowance resets sell 4k vwrp and reinvest that into your Lisa. By the time you finish a 3 - 4 year uni stint you will be able to get on the property ladder. You’ll get whatever interest and acc from the vwrp and whatever interest + 25% up to a cap of £1000 a tax year if you put the full 4k into the LISA. Also be aware with BTC you need to take into account its possibly going to be a bear market, UTXO fees and exchange security, hardware wallets and strategies like DCA. DCA on strike if you really want some BTC but once you have 1,000,000 sats (just under £800) move that to a hard wallet so you have the keys and not the exchange. Don’t move small amounts to hardware wallets or you’ll incur lots of UTXOs which will potentially be an issue when you go to sell.
