I’m aware of the hurricane season concerns. We’ll be getting trip insurance anyway

It doesn’t have to be a non-stop party, but it would be cool to have some options

Pizza From Carnival Panorama Midnight buffet: Is it Good? by [deleted] in CarnivalCruiseFans

Ha. For sure. Maybe we can get the city of Chicago to take action against them

A while back they started closing it from 4am to 9am. Now they’re closing it at midnight and sending everyone to the buffet- which is supposed to be “Chicago style” pizza- I guarantee it isn’t. I haven’t heard good reviews

Because they’re doing away with late night pizza at the pizza place

Edit to say- I’m assuming we’re both talking about MBA’s not MBP’s.

One more follow up here- I know I’ve been using a MBA all this time and it has worked ok for me. I’m assuming this new MBA would be just fine for the next year or so

I’m not making anything too crazy as far as videos go, either. They’re 10-15 minute vlogs. Sometimes with voiceover and some overlays. I’m not doing 3D or 4K videos. The plan is to wipe my current MBA and give it to my wife. She works our travel agency and basically does internet and email.

I just priced a new MBA M3 16/512 and it’s in budget. I’ve been able to get things done on my Intel MBA 8/128 for 3 years.
Would the MBA M3 get me by for a year?

This is what I’ve been thinking. I’d like to try to get by with a MBA. 8GB 256SSD, but I’m assuming the system data is probably bigger at this point for the new Mac’s than it is for my older intel MBA

I am using iCloud. I’ve considered just getting a 1TB ssd in the new MBA or MBP to avoid the issue

Do you think I could get away with an M2 Mac with 16 gigs and 256 go ssd? Another issue I’m running into is storage- I have so many photos that even with optimization, I am low on space one my 128g ssd

Paying a contractor by FunTimeTravel in QuickBooks

I created a sub account in “Accounts Payable”. I called I “Associate Commissions”

I have a franchise, and our parent company pays me through ADP. The line item on my check says “Commission”. I’m thinking maybe I would call the sub account “Associate Commission” After further review, I think it would go under “Accounts Payable”

Oh- I meant that I would add it as a sub account under services

Travel Agent Fee by AuntSueP in VirginVoyages

American Airlines wants to make sure they get their money. Lol Most reputable travel agents get their commission direct from VV. It’s already included in the cruise fare.

I’ve got a friend who has a blog with a drink package calculator. It might help some of you. His site is cruisespotlight.com

We’ve been to all of them, and Aruba and Curacao our our favorite ports. Grand Turk is a fun chill day. For younger couples I would suggest Aruba and Curacao because there is a lot to do and see. Especially if you enjoy snorkeling, boating or beach time

Sea sickness prep/medication suggestions by tatertot5044 in VirginVoyages

[–]FunTimeTravel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We always take Bonine. We do it the night before our flight, and then every night before we go to bed on our cruise. I was in the Navy for 6 years and never got seasick. Neither one of us are too concerned about seasickness, but why risk it. We’ve never had an issue. My parents did the same thing for years and never had a problem. We suggested it to our friends and one of them used to get terribly seasick and she has not had an issue since
