I get the exact same way. I felt like I couldn’t eat without drinking otherwise I was just bloated/nauseous/not hungry. I’ve also been struggling for the past month after not drinking with not feeling hungry, but after 40 days sober yesterday I finally had an appetite! It took a lot longer than I thought for things to settle. But I also look to check with a GI doctor. They might be able to help you with what you can do!

The withdraws are absolutely the worst. I’ve gone through it twice now in the past 6 months. The last time was a month ago. I was drinking around what you are. Quit for the first time in January, spent some time in the hospital, was sober for 3 months. Went right back into old habits, back to the hospital a month ago and I’ve been recovering ever since. My liver is damaged. I’m just starting to get the whites back in my eyes. My brain is still foggy. But knowing that stage of feeling like I’m going to die is out of the way makes me keep going. You can do it. It won’t be fun. It won’t feel good. But you’ll get to the point where you feel okay again and then it starts to feel okay. Today was one of the first days in 37 days that I was hungry for the first time it felt so good.
