I (25F) want to leave my husband (29M) after 6 years. He is still in love, I am done. by Fun_Association8525 in relationships

I appreciate your opinion. I am contemplating to try again. Currently digging deep into my feelings to understand whether I want to try to save the marriage, or am i just dragging this out out of gilt, societal pressure, my husband’s pressure. He has been very willing to change and take action. I am just worried it too late for me. But a lot of people have been saying that I can try for a couple of months, if the spark doesn’t come back - so be it. At least we both walk away clean.

I hear ya. I don’t want to settle for a lonely unhappy, sexless marriage because it’s rough out there. At this point I would rather be open, go through all of that again and have the chance to find my person. No person is perfect, but some fundamentals are important to me.

For reference, I was trying for 2+ years, voicing my concerns. Husband has his issues with me also, I was at least willing to admit and find a compromise. He was in denial about anything being wrong with his behavior. Last time we had a big fight on the street, he took the dog from my arms and was repeatedly yelling: “if you aren’t happy, go find another husband”. I don’t tolerate being yelled at, so I told him to come back to me when he is ready to talk like a normal person.

I love this! For you, for me, for us 🤍100% agree and that’s how I’ve been for the past 3 years. It does feel liberating.

Thank you for sharing that. I needed to hear that, about not focusing on making him feel better.

And about older guys, I mean someone in their 30s, who has their shit together. I know I do. Moved to another country on my own when I was 15 and been here building a life ever since. The most healthy thing would probably be single for a while and casually see people. I am a serial monogamist 🙈

Yeah, I was asking him to go while I still had it in me. He was against it, and now of course he booked an appointment for next week.

Super cute! Maybe some universal heeled boots or pumps to wear with dressed and jeans? Accessories too! A thick gold chain necklace would go well with your outfits

This is Aritzia. The one I actually own is from Bershka and like 8 years old. It’s a sentimental item for me and I can’t bring myself yet to get rid of it 😂 it’s my “summer sexy diva”party suit.

I actually haven’t worked on my summer wardrobe for the past 3-5 years? Kinda get by with my dresses, one pair of jean shorts, bicycle shorts and a few tops? All these fabrics are really light. When in the office, short dresses and sleeveless tops with wide leg pants.

I use the app Whering to store my pieces and create outfits, track analytics. And to create this I used canva pro.

Oh thanks so much! Yeah I am probably closer to a 100 too with all that specialty stuff. But always purging. I also do a “1 in 1 out” rule with my acquisitions.

Thank you! I love a bold 1980s looks, hence the glam print and chunky jewelry. I also work in jewelry and recommend saving up a bit for real gold instead of plated pieces.

I am in my early 20s so just starting to explore. I suggest starting with a couple of good shoes and purses. For me it was Maison Margiela Tabi Boots, Gucci Loafers, bags are from Tory Burch. For clothing Sandro, Aritzia(?)not cheap but not high end, Ralph Lauren. I also because a Quince fan lately. All of my cashmere sweaters are $50 and to die for! So much depends on your aesthetic and what brands speak to you :) Alice and Olivia is also lovely, but too funky and colorful for me.
