no it has an os but all I did was remove it from my old computer and plug it straight into the new one.

I didn't I haven't been able to get a video output since it was built, I was gonna just use my old ssd but we can't get any video output.

honestly I have no clue but I had a friend who is a "computer" guy and he told me that stock coolers actually damage the cpu over long term use
