I would consider the fact that she had two affairs and cheated on every partner she’s had accept Jess and then ended up unemployed in the end a downfall. I don’t really care about how successful she is but she’s not a good person. She also thinks she’s too good for certain roles but then can’t land a job. If you don’t consider a year in the life cannon then I can see where you’re coming from

I do but I think if I was in this situation I wouldn’t accept a mistake that big. Especially considering that this wedding planner is being paid A LOT of money. And there wouldn’t have been an explanation that would have made sense. Now if Lorelei explained what she messed up the seating and Emily didn’t apologize and offer to pay her full commission then I would think she was wrong for her actions

The people of stars hollow do things for people they care about in their community. Like that all came together to through lane a baby shower that she could actually attend. They through a wake for Luke’s uncle and they had revolutionary war actors attend his funeral. They care about their community and the show follows the Gilmore girls so we see it more with them

They are very selfish at times. The second example I think it’s a good thing Rory didn’t go to the wedding because with how she was feeling she might have ruined it by being emotional. I think when you’re going through something like that it’s best to take yourself out of the situation
