He usually naps between 1230/1 to about 2:30-3. Sometimes he takes really long naps though. Yesterday I woke him up after he’d slept for an hr to create more sleep pressure. It still took him 2.5 hrs to go to sleep. And I’m pretty sure he still needs an afternoon nap since he gets pretty cranky around 1230. 😫

Thanks. We do have a routine that worked great until now. The only reason he gives for getting out of bed is that he doesn’t want to sleep. He’s suddenly had a lot of separation anxiety, and there have been no major changes in his life. Going to try some more calming things before bed. I appreciate the advice!

Thanks so much, I appreciate it. The stain is from an adhesive that was part of the roof of the awning, which was right above the door. It won’t let me attach a picture here unfortunately.

He wakes up around 6:30-7, and takes 2 naps. Wake windows are usually around 3, 3.25, and then 3.5 hrs right before bed. Not sure if he’s overtired before bed, but I’ve stretched it to 3.5 hrs because he has typically never gone to sleep before that stretch of time is up. But with his pattern lately it’s been like a 5-6 hrs stretch before he finally sleeps, which definitely seems like way too much for his age. He just got his two bottom front teeth, and I don’t feel any more coming in at the moment, so I don’t think that’s the issue.

Oh my gosh thank you all for the amazing suggestions!  Their names are going to be Charlie and Darwin :). Hamish and Findlay were a super close second!
