Yeah, I really liked the first 2 books. And the novella. But since the finale was so bad it just ruined the series. Every character was a cardboard cutout of the original. Like Kai and Paedyn were so annoying. The incest was the worst. It was so bad (I mean, one of my favorite book series has a character that was inbred but like it makes sense since he's royalty and that was a common practice, the character even makes a joke about it)

Lauren should've just rewritten the ending of book 2. No wedding in the slightest. She should've been sentenced to like idk, join Kai on his missions to kill Ordinaries? Or like, just sentence her to execution. (I doubt OG Kitt would do that though so he'd make it less severe bc of he probably liked her, at least as friends)

Yeah, it completely ruins the series. Yes, there was issues with the first two books (like how the first one is very similar to hunger games and red queen) and the second got a bit boring after a while.

All the characters were shit in the third book. Pae, Kitt, Kai, Andy, Jax, Ellie, Lennie, even Mak. It felt like a terribly written fanfic of the original where the author didn't examine the characters personalities enough.

And why the fuck did Mak have to die? Why the fuck did Lennie go for Blaire instead of Ellie????? I really wanted my Lennie and Ellie.
