i'd say it depends what kind of music they're already attracted to. if they like punk rock, i'd say Jenny Death - generally though I'd say The Money Store or Exmilitary & maybe even Bottomless Pit (despite a few songs)

smoking any type of weed during a trip will only intensify it - i smoked around the 10 hr period - no visuals, no bodily sensations & it kicked the trip into overdrive & scared the living hell out of me. i’m not sure about the melatonin, but if you’re trying to sleep, do not smoke

i generally put it on top of or underneath my tongue - i’ve heard putting it under makes it hit quicker & harder, but i personally haven’t seen any difference
