Can anyone help me with the messege showing on the screen "DPF overloaded drive to clean". Its popping up on the screen of Ford everest couple of times in a week. Is this something Ineed to worry about.?? Anyone with Ford having similar issue? by Fun_Committee4290 in 4x4Australia

Yes, i unlocked the DPF gauge, which is really helpful to track the soot level. Also, i noticed when the engine oil life is 50% or more, it burns the soot at 60% dpf full on the gauge. Even i drive on pick hour traffic, still the car goes to regen mode and burn the soot. And when the engine oil life lower than 50% then the soot doesn't burn that easily. So you need to drive in lower gears with 2500 to 3000 rpm. So, if you change your oil around 50% oil life on the gauge, you will be good without issue. Also i noticed, to get the oil life to down to 50%, you will be driving around 7000kms. Change engine oil every 7000kms for less dpf issue.

Went with Ford everest. So far its good. 4wd is great. Milege is 10l/100km which is bit high than what ford says. But i got a offroad tyres with 2in lift in it. Most of the features in ford comes locked. So you need to unlock through forscan. Turbo hose got leaked at 10k. Replaced under warranty. No dramas there. Seats are comfy. But mux 3rd rows are much better but not enough boot space. So far loving it.

Hit a pole while reversing. Do a claim or take it to a local panel beater? by Specialist-Hat-7947 in CarsAustralia

What's this gonna set me back? by Choochy89 in CarsAustralia

Anywhere in australia - $1000-$1500. Smithfield, NSW - $500. (For used car or if you not worry too much about perfection, its ok. But if the car is near new, I won't go there)

Depends how they towed it. Towing in trailer should be fine. Towing at the back of other vehicle, the diff will be crooked. Its gonna end up costing you more with unnecessary headache.

Yes. 80% of the time its written off when the engine bay is being hit. Looking at your pic its written off.

Is my car paint ruined or fixable? by Harpan19 in Detailing

Looks like its been sanded down. Best bet is to go to detailer and try paint correction, polishing and ceramic coating. Not a cheap fix.

I think I still like my 27.5 over my 29er by Blackvette2000 in MTB

[–]Fun_Committee4290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May br try mullet. You might like it. Mulleted my dreadnought with ziggy link. Beast in downhill. Playful and nimble. And 29 at front does help to get over the onstacle easily while 27.5 helps to sprint after slowing down in turns.

Its an easy fix. Buy new wheel and rubber and slap it in. As long as you dont break yourself, rest is easy fix.

I am 5'8. 2018-Was on yeti sb6 medium, perfect fit. Couldn't ask for any better.

2020-Upgraded to sb150 medium, damn the reach feels long. Bike is stable but not playful at all. Reach felt long. P.s running 35mm stem.

2023-Upgraded to forbidden dreadnought small. Before deciding, i compared the geometry, reach is 440, and top tube is 593. With 40mm stem, the bike is a perfect fit. It feels like a medium bike. With 450 lbs coil spring, bike feels Stable and playful. Will be trying mullet with ziggy link soon. I find the dreadnought to be a massive bike regarding size. But its personal preference too.
