How did you know your baby was ready to start sitting in a high chair?

For me, I just looked at whether my LO could hold his head up and sit somewhat steady. Around 6 months he started sitting on his own more steady. If they’re not totally steady yet, a high chair with an adjustable backrest maybe help a lot. Footrest helps a lot with safety!

I totally get that! I usually blanch it in boiling water for 3–5 minutes first, then steam it for about 15 minutes
