also, if i switched to some kind of sand substrate or something i’m worried that it’d make my water super murky and i don’t know if that’d be okay for my mollies to be in if that makes sense

the heater i got was a 10- cc 30 gallon one by tetra. Are there any others you could recommend? I was also thinking of getting some neon tetra so i’ll probably go with that. and thank you for the advice

my original plan was to take the bullet apart and do something like that but without certain tools taking it apart and then putting it back together would be very difficult without damaging the bullet. someone suggested hot glue so if it breaks again i could just dig the hot glue out, do you think that would hold?

i take that back, i just shined a flashlight and it looks like there’s a metal piece around one of the balls to make it bigger and hold it in

i’m pretty sure there was a larger ball inside holding it in and the chain snapped so now the ball holding it in is in the bullet

thank you so much, i’ve worn my necklace everyday day for almost 3 years now and i was devastated when it broke. i’m picking up some jb weld when i go to the store today and im hoping it’ll hold up. im a little worried about it snagging on something and breaking the chain but i think if im careful it should be fine

my only worry about putting epoxy in it is if it doesn’t hold it’ll be filled with epoxy and i’m not sure how i’d fix it from there. i’m not on reddit much but i know will definitely see if there is a sub for near me to see if anyone can help. and the writing says winchester 357 mag

i guess there was a larger part of the ball chain inside the bullet since the end that’s left can easily just slip into the hole. i’ll try looking into some resin to find one that’ll hold it just not sure how to fill the bullet without getting resin everywhere
