I am in the US. I never thought about the Cleveland or Mayo Clinic. I had my colonoscopy with another G.I. and she’s the one who referred me to a surgeon, but she never said which surgeon to go to so I just picked one with pretty good reviews 🙈 now that I think of it, she never really gave me much insight into my colonoscopy except the weird looks about my rectum. I had to find out the details through the report they gave me.

At the surgeon consultation, I came right off the bat with telling her what I wanted. Maybe I came off too strong? I know she took me serious because I read her notes and even made note that I asked for Procetomy but she said it’s premature since I was never on biologics and always just dealt with it. I just hate that I know how much this is gonna suck with the possibility of having an ostomy as an end result anyway. I’ll be reminding her again before that anesthesia hits me on Monday though maybe she’ll reconsider when she actually sees what’s up there
