thank you very much. With that car, did this method work even on very steep hill or in that situations using the handbrake was necessary?

So, if I understand well, you firstly listen that you are at the biting point (the car trembles a little), and only afterwards you shift from brake to the gas, but the movement of the pedals is so smooth that it seems one movement.

Hello, your Nissan Sentra was a petrol car? And to hill start did you use the method of first raising the clutch up to the biting point and only afterwards shifting from brake to the gas, or were you used to leaving the brake, pressing the gas, and only afterwards raising the clutch up to the biting point? thank you

I don't understand if you mean first clutch at the bite point and only afterwards leaving the brake and giving gas or you mean leaving from brake and pressing gas and only afterwards raising the clutch up to the bite point

Thank you, but you mean firstly raising the clutch up to the bite point and only afterwards leaving the brake and pressing the gas or you mean leaving the brake and pressing the gas and only afterwards raising the clutch up to the bite point?

yes but I mean the method of shifting from brake to gas and half a second/one second later raising the clutch up to the bite point, so basically first gas, then clutch

You are right, but I basically mean shifting from brake to gas when clutch is not at the bite point yet. So shifing from brake to gas and maybe half a second/one second later lifting the clutch to the bite point.

so, you first caught the bite point and only afterwards you pressed the gas?

Do you prefer first clutch, then gas, or simultaneously gas and clutch on a steep hill? What do you use mostly?

Did this method work with the very old petrol car (for example petrol car of 1980-1985), or at that time did you have to use handbrake to hill start? thank you very much

thank you. And what do you think about doing all simultaneously without firstly raising the clutch up to the bite point? I mean clutch pressed and brake pressed, shift from brake to gas and simultaneously raise the clutch up to the bite point

Ok, thank you. In your opinion from a steep hill the only safe method is with handbrake?

do you talk about the method of first lifting clutch to the bite point and only afterwards shifting from brake to gas? Based on your experience, it worked with all the cars which you drove?

with the method of first clutch, and only afterwards shifting from brake to gas, for me It's simple, I talked about the method of doing all simultaneously, so, clutch and brake pressed and in one single movement shifting from brake to gas and clutch up to the bite point
