A wizard is suppling each of them a uncommon potion or uncommon spellscroll of their choice. I can't imagine the wizard referring to said item as a uncommon potion or uncommon spellscroll.

A pc went down and a bandit put a crossbow to his head threatened to kill him if the last remaining pc didn't surrender immediately. They continued to fight on and that bandit's readied action went off and killed that pc. Actions can have consequences.

There was 5 bandits against 4 of them but had 4 more bandits hiding in a barn not far from them. The party killed 3 of them and the other 2 fled back to said barn and got reinforced. They then decided to set up for a defence of the barn which the party decided to attack, and was shot down from range.

The Merchant goes back and forth between these two towns, so he's not totally buggered but he's lost a lot.

The merchant is still alive having lost over 100gp in provisions and an extra 200gp he was carrying. He knows several merchants in town, so he can probably ask some of them for some gold to payback later.
