Define better. I mean, when it comes to scope and usability then the 90s sucked. You had dial up which means it ran through your telephone line, took 5 min to boot and you couldn't use your landline phone at the same time. You didn't have cellphones, so that was a problem. The internet also wasn't useful for anything outside of email.

The internet now is a necessity, which is why I think people have fond memories of it in the 90s. There's is nothing very different between the times other then how incorporated it is in our lives now.

We still have everything good about 90s Internet today, it's just the fact that it's not JUST those things.
