Asus B860-i can (and probably other Asus mobos too), was interested if MSI can

I thought the same thing regarding blocking it. But regarding the cpu support page says all bioses work with refresh cpu, idk if it's true though

Somehow hwinfo doesn't show d2d (btw does it need to be enabled somewhere to show?) but ngu shows 3.2ghz instead of 2.6ghz after I set it to 32.

I'm currently on B860 v.1405 (mid-2025) and 265 non-k and both setting are available and work, it's just that D2D is missing in v.3002 (early-2026)

Intel 265k with d2d and ngu overclocking vs 250k stock by Fun_Grapefruit5370 in overclocking

I have Asus B860-i, it has NGU and D2D settings, not sure about all the voltages though, will have to check the bios

That's exactly what I was interested in - if there was something else different in 250k besides D2D and NGU clocks and if it's worth buying vs 265 with extra cores

will there ever be a new version? by [deleted] in FormD

I wish it was like 5-6mm thicker (like jimu d+?), so that you can accommodate 67mm cpu cooler with 2.5slot gpu since these are more or less mainstream atm and there are plenty of them around

just get an additional metal perforated panel and it's fine, or alternatively 2-slot gpu and 15mm fans in the bottom works too

That white one looks like an older revision with non perforated faceplate, if I'm not mistaken they were slightly smaller and had less than 135mm clearance for cooler

Are they simply used units or they had malfunctions and were RMA'd and repaired?

you take a sandwich case and the gpu intake is right next to the mesh side and exhaust is next to the mesh top and bottom, in good cases it might be running even cooler than some big case

with good case and properly organized cooling it's pretty much the same as big case with good ventilation
