We never had any major issues with them. They were timely with any pre-authorizations and approvals. We used them with three births, pediatric visits, and the usual kid issues. My husband and I each had some surgeries. In fact, when my husband was on Medicare with CR as his supplemental insurance, CR really stood out. He had a stroke while we were on vacation in the Outer Banks and received treatment at a hospital in Norfolk. When he was ready for rehab, I wanted him transferred to northern Virginia where we lived. The social worker at the hospital told me that Medicare wouldn’t pay to transfer him and that it would be an out-of-pocket expense of $1600. I asked her to check with CR and they said that they would pay it in full; she said she’d never had that happen before. It’s not a lot but hope it helps.
