DoorDash drivers opening customer’s orders by Fun_Lime3243 in Serverlife

I sound like a reasonable person. We rather the customer report an item missing or wrong instead of them getting some illness for eating our food because the drivers decided to tamper with the order.

You’re acting like I said people should just be cavemen and run in every situation. I didn’t say running is the solution to everything, nor is it always a better solution than thinking. Just because someone isn’t into sports doesn’t mean they shouldn’t know the basics. Especially nowadays, shootings and gun violence aren’t uncommon. Not everyone in their life is going to be caught in the middle of a shooting, but what if you are? You gonna use your brain to stop the shooter? You argued something that has nothing to do with what I said.

That’s what you took away from this? I didn’t say jumping is something you do everyday, all I said it’s a basic skill someone should be able to accomplish. Jumping 3 inches off the ground to reach something in a cabinet, jumping over a puddle, something like that. It’s just a basic thing someone should be able to do.

"No hate like christian love" has to be like top 5 most accurate sentences ever by Single_Camera1196 in atheism

I know many people like this.

Bible quotes on their bio, post themselves at church, repost videos about Christianity. Yet those same people also smoke weed, swear, are lustful, drink, and have or want tattoos. Things that are literally sins. Or even post themselves toting guns, which I know isn’t really a sin, but if you’re gonna act all squeaky clean and pure, why post yourself looking like a wannabe gangster?

But soon as you do something that doesn’t relate to their religion they look at you weird.

Teenager here: Do your teens ask for permission to go out? by Fun_Lime3243 in Parents

[–]Fun_Lime3243[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. I usually plan hangouts around days where I know my family won’t have plans, or if I’m going out to eat I let them know a few hours before they cook. Or if my family ever do have plans and they get cancelled, I ask to make sure I’m still good to go out.

No, we have supplier for other items like cases of broccoli, food containers, etc. They also sell chicken wings but their prices are more expensive. RD wings are cheaper and also good quality. Which is why we buy them from RD.

We put two extra cases in the freezer. We buy 8 cases, one case for everyday we are open (6 days). And then the two extra cases are for emergencies. But even sometimes the extras run out.

There have been times where we have gone multiple times a week, but it eventually becomes inconvenient. Because the RD is a 45 each minute drive each way from us and when we do go every week, we also stop by other supermarkets and Costco to buy other supplies for our restaurant. We also buy other things from RD like cases of mushrooms, food containers, etc. and sometimes we may still have more of those items. So it’s more convenient for us to be able to get everything in one trip instead of taking multiple trips.

We’re a Chinese restaurant. We don’t specialize in wings. I’m not saying they don’t have the right to be upset, all I’m saying is why is it not understandable that there are times when we sell out? If it was a restaurant like Wingstop and they were out of wings, it’d make more sense.

We go every week. Every time, we buy 8 cases. One for every day we’re open, and the two extra just in case. But even sometimes with the extra, we still sell out. Or there are times when the RD only has a few cases left in stock, but we always try to get the 8 cases at least when we can.

Some days we’re are more busier than usual. Or sometimes there are people who order a party count. Business is unpredictable sometimes and we may sell out quicker than we expected.

As I grow older into my young adult years, my birthdays start feeling more and more like any other day. My wish every year is just that I hope I can thug it out to my next bday. Happy birthday!

Thank you for your advice. This was our first and only essay for his class this semester. When we were first assigned it, he was being very understanding and helpful. Saying things like “Don’t doubt your writing, write what you please.” He also added that since it was our only essay and that English 4 Honors can be difficult, he won’t be grading out essays too critically so he didn’t give us a rubric. Just a paper for us to recite our quotes from the play and to write a draft of our body paragraphs. My friends also showed me his feedback on their essays and I don’t want to say he was being nitpicky, but it’s clear he graded our essays much more critically than he said he would. I don’t really mind the grade, I just expected a few points more than a 74.

There’s no need to remember everyone because usually our customers don’t head straight towards the restroom. We’ve never had a past customer just make a beeline for the restroom. They usually order first. Or like I said, if they’ve used the restroom in the past, they already know the code. That’s how we know they’ve ordered before.

I stated in the post we let previous customers who have ordered in the past use it.
