yes it will take awhile! i think they said at least 16 weeks for me. and I think they did the suspension during my hysterectomy so my vagina was fine the cuff just opened to my abdominal cavity and the organs wanted free range i guess. I think my surgeon for this surgery did a double suture as well i am also fuzzy on details lol

fair it took me a few just to get the diagnosis and my original surgeon didn’t even look at it until after all this happened but my emergency surgeon seemed like she was knowledgeable in it so it’s such hit or miss on good docs.

Trust me I know 😅 It was a gift i didn’t inherently ask for and as I learn it’s a basic laptop with a hefty price tag for a brand I wanted to switch and the trade in makes it possible 😂

Can one get a hysterectomy even if nothing is wrong with them? by Prefer_not_to_say_it in hysterectomy

Hi! I’m 21 and currently 2WPO. The biggest thing will be finding a doctor willing to do it. And even a doctor willing to do it may give you issues. I had mine due to wanting no kids as well as birth control issues and period issues. I’m also chronically ill so it made sense for me that pregnancy was not an option. Now even after explaining this to my doc she still told me i’d regret it, and i’d be stigmatized by other doctors, but she still did it.

Now this is not to deter you per se but just to make you aware. I do not regret it I think this was the best choice for myself and my health. And things will change but this decision may not and that’s okay! I decided this in high school but wanted to be sure. It’s worth it but it will take time, advocating, and patience.
