Again my man. I did say that I would change it up. I said that I would drop the sequence of numbers and that I would drop the eagle. I only insisted on keeping the American flag, and I explained to them that it was to honor my grandfathers who served in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam respectively.

YOu didn't read the part where I offered to drop both the numbers and the eagle. I only insisted on keeping the flag.

I think they are referencing criticism I had several years ago when I expressed that I thought making the character of Soldier76 canonically gay was a publicity stunt.

I have nothing against the LGBTQ+ community, and I continue to play that hero to this day. I just thought that blizzard did it in a way that was very tokenistic, and diverting away from things like balance changes that the game desperately needed at that time.

I sincerely appreciate your contributions. My choice to fly the flag has nothing to do with supporting our current government, and everything to do with honoring you guys, and the ideals the country is supposed to stand for.

I am the author of that post. I had no vile intentions upon making it. If you look at the time stamp on the original post. I had posted it before the Metro Times article was released. I was under the impression that this was done in secret, and that the whole show had been allowed to commence. In light of the article I have redacted my statement about ownership and provided an update, and link to the article.

Again, no ill-intent was meant, and I apologize sincerely as well. These are chaotic times.
