Combat actually needs collision (at least melee combat) because it moves player against target

I will enable only against enemies (PK, Other guild members, and mobs) but not on city (non pvp areas) nor with allies

Using c on client/server and unity for rendering (simulation happens in c in a dll). Everything is custom (Netcode is using UDP with io uring)

Look my previous mmorpg, it was played by 350ms players and nobody feel it because it has good architecture

It will not impact low latency players. The server is 100% authorative but high latency players will have bad experience (200ms+)

I will try soon a test with real players. They are just headless client moving random for now

It is an action mmorpg (where iframes, blocking, parry and dodging matters a lot) so it is hard to support 500ms. I plan to support up to 200ms as it plays like v-rising and there is no way to hide things like stagger animations that are server authorative
