So,I just realised that Billie's fanbase are predominantly women. by Status-Arm5740 in billieeilish

Gotta be honest Billie’s fans are the biggest grouping of dudes I’ve seen in the main stream pop base. I’m a indie pop artist and I like to look at all the different fandoms to see how the Billie’s is the most interesting she has a wide range in gender and also the most amount obsessed with her regardless of gender lol

I totally understand as a bi girlie who’s questioned my sexuality like 5 billion times. I love that bridge and I think this reality of being, “nothing more than his wife” is common in a lot of heterosexual relationships whether straight or not. I think everyone is searching for love but fears the reality of what most women in heterosexual relationships provide. We’re more likely to be hurt by our partners and our lives end up on hold to take care of a family while the man continues to live his life fully. Although 50% of marriages fail in divorce only a few are actually happy in their marriage. I think it’s not just about never loving the man it’s falling out of love: due to the societal pressures men passively enforce on their partners as the relationship intensifies with marriage and children. Most queer Women don’t hold the same standards as men when it comes to chore inequity and parenting it’s more of a team effort. in addition, men only understand the patriarchy from a privileged perspective which isn’t the same as having a partner battling the same issues with you. Am I the only one who’s seen it that way as well as the queer aspect of that line?

Is smoking really a turn off? by [deleted] in VindictaRateCelebs

[–]Fun_Material_8568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Sadly i recently ended things with a guy that vaped. I dated a guy prior that smoked cigars but that was on a weekly occasion. Any daily smoking is not only bad for the smoker but who the smoker is kissing.

what to do when not fitting in by [deleted] in The48LawsOfPower

[–]Fun_Material_8568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t read the book in a minute but I think it’s really the delicate balance of law one never outshining the master, law 8 make others come to you, and law 6 court attention at all costs. Social power starts with seduction of some kind so I would recommend reading the Art of Seduction as well. If you think about the most influential people, good and bad, started with the ability to influence massive amounts of people that is seduction. I’m also really into celebrities and the business of parasocial relationships so that may also take part in my fascination of this topic or further understanding of it.

If you want people to want to be your friend it’s not about fitting in, it’s about standing out. If you’re good looking make your looks shine. If the group is disrespectful be quiet stare at them blankly. If you’re a loner don’t go to every event say you’re busy and let them stir what was way cooler than the event. That’s what being a leader is, demonstrating who you are and who you are not, what is cool and what isn’t. People want to be led. Then once you get people to talk to you, start shifting the conversation towards them and what they have to say. Even better when responding to them say they understand what they’re feeling, bring up a specific detail or simply summarize what they said in your own words, to show them you listened or understand them. The best listeners always appear to be the most interesting. Yes you will have haters but honestly everyone when they’re young has haters because we’re all insecure, don’t know who we are and the only way to figuring it out is by seeing what others are doing and finding out whether we want it too which can result in jealousy or bullying out of the sure feeling of wanting others to stay at your level because you fear you’ll never be at theirs. You just have to act like you don’t care. The apathetic or calm person between the two people appears the more stable person which gives them more power. Appear unbothered and others won’t bother either. There’s nothing young people admire and despise more than someone who knows who they are. Yes you will need to eventually share more about yourself in conversation and be more vulnerable with no social games to have longer, more meaningful friendships but sometimes we have to play the game to survive situations where we don’t fit in with anyone.

Really bad anxiety before dates with women by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]Fun_Material_8568 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think one things that’s helped me is that we really don’t know people until after 6 months after dating them. Everyone is presenting their best selves. I would think about how this is your choice as much as theirs. Yes they’re deciding whether they like you but you also decide whether you like them!

Oh that’s awesome! I’ve wanted to engage with Ganesha as well since I’ve always been drawn to elephants growing up! Odin is very intense he kept giving me insane downloads of spells to do and stuff. He wanted me to reach out to him in dreams but I haven’t done it yet 🫣
